Motorola’s Digital radio platform Motorola MOTOTRBO is their latest radio platform. Motorola has invested heavily in this new technology. For the first time in their 60+ years of manufacturing radios have digital radios become so affordable. To date they have sold more than one million MOTOTRBO radios!
Motorola recently releases some NEW MODELS.
The SL7550 is the worlds smallest hand held radio. It features incredible audio performance, internal Bluetooth, voice announcement, vibra-alert and a color display. The model number for the SL7550 is AAH81QCN9NA2
The XPR3300 and XPR3500 are smaller than the XPR6550 and XPR6350, and are priced lower. They have voice announcement but do not have Bluetooth or GPS or the 3-year warranty. The extended model numbers for the XPR3300 are AAh02JDC9JA2 for VHF and AAH02RDC9JA2
The new XPR7350 and XPR7550 are an improvement to the original XPR6350 and XPR6550 radios (both of which are discontinued as of April 2015). The XPR7000 series radios have internal Bluetooth, 5-line color display (XPR7550), and a rugged ergonomic design. Extended model numbers for the XPR7350 are AAH56JDC9KA1 and AAH56RDC9KA1 and for the XPR7550 AAH56JDN9KA1 or AAH56RDN9KA1
The now discontinued XPR6100 is a bare bones XPR6350. No GPS, not submersible, no emergency button, not capable of trunking and comes with a 2 year warranty rather than 3. It is an excellent radio for users needing a solid, no-frills radio for analogue or digital use. Extended Model numbers are AAH55JDT9JA1 and AAH55QDT9JA1
