This battery is rated as intrinsically safe when paired with a UL approved XPR 7000e series radio (UL marked with white dot on the battery and radio) such as the XPR7550e and will provide more than 25 hours of talk-time. With an IP68 rating, it is waterproof and can be fully submersed in water at two meters for 2 hours.
When used with an IMPRES charger, provides automatic, adaptive reconditioning, end-of-life display, and other advanced features. Data is stored in the battery and communicated to the charger via a unique IMPRES communication protocol which is designed to maximize talk-time and optimize battery cycle life.
